Galway daily cold weather

Cold with scattered showers.

Met Éireann say scattered showers will become isolated & increasingly confined to the Atlantic coastal fringes.

Largely dry OVN apart from a few showers persisting near Atlantic coasts.

A chilly night with lows -1 to 3°C with frost forming in sheltered spots by dawn.

A few mist and fog patches inland.

Any frost and fog will clear tomorrow morning.

It will be dry and bright for a time with sunny spells but cloud will increase from the west.

Outbreaks of rain will develop along the west coast around mid-afternoon and become widespread by evening.

Highs of 7 to 9 degrees in light west to southwest breezes, which will increase during the afternoon with strong winds developing near the west coast.
