A road near Craughwell will be closed for two days next week to facilitate roadworks taking place in the area.
Resurfacing Overlay roadworks are being carried out on a section of the L4501 at Kileeneen, Craughwell next Monday and Tuesday.
The section of the L4501 in question will be closed to traffic from 7:30am to 7pm on May 13 & 14 to allow for these works to take place.
“As a consequence users of this road are requested to expect delays and as such should allow additional time for their journeys,” the county council said.
“’Galway County Council would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience caused by these works’’.
The contract for these Road Resurfacing Overlay Works was awarded to Lagan Asphalt Ltd.
