Multiple Portumna roadworks to cause traffic delays next week

Multiple sets of roadworks taking place around Portumna was cause traffic delays for motorists next week.

The County Council has ordered two separate road closures to facilitate resurfacing overlay roadworks taking place from Monday to Thursday.

On Monday and Tuesday work will be taking place at Drumminamuckla South in Woodford.

A section of the R352 will be closed from 7:30am to 7pm each day to allow work to take place.

On Wednesday and Thursday resurfacing works will be taking place elsewhere along the R352 at Cappakella, Ballycrissane.

That road will also be closed from 7:30am to 7pm for the two days while work is being carried out.

Motorists travelling in the Portumna area are advised to expect traffic delays as a result of these works and to allow more time to make journeys.
