Farewell party for all the diaspora of the ‘Pres’ Athenry

Presentation College Athenry is bidding farewell to its old school ahead of big move, and anyone who’s passed through the school is invited to the farewell bash.

Cairde Pres is extending an invitation to all the diaspora of Presentation College, past students or teachers, to join them for the final farewell part on December 27.

The party is taking place at the school from 6pm to 8pm, no kind of cover charge and all are welcome.

Presentation College Athenry farewell party

Since first opening its doors in 1947, the Pres has educated three generations of locals in some 70 fine years of work.

In early 2019 the school will be moving a new site at Ballygurran, so this might be the last chance some will have to walk the halls and recall old school memories.

If you’re home in Athenry this Christmas then reconnect with old friends and compare where life has taken on the not-to-be missed night.
