An event was held recently to thank local business leaders who raised over €154,000 for COPE Galway.

COPE Galway’s 7th Annual Business Leaders Sleepout, held in December, saw thirty-two Galway Business Leaders raise a total of €154,500 for the local charity’s Homeless Services.

The total amount raised was announced at the event, and Galway business leader participants heard how the monies raised will fund COPE Galway’s various projects to support individuals and families at risk of or currently experiencing homelessness.

In particular, it will provide specific life-skills supports towards more sustainable long-term outcomes.
