With love in the air this season, brides need look no further than COPE Galway’s online charity shop, hosted by their charity retail partners Thriftify.

COPE Galway Charity Shop is selling a beautiful range of designer wedding dresses and shoes through the online platform, and many beautiful items have been donated by local bridal shops.

Shop manager Allison Currah said that they are thrilled to have partnered with Thriftify and and offer some of their best stock online.

“Thriftify have recently launched their bridal wear and, from this Valentines Week, we are excited to offer our wedding dresses and new bridal shoes to anyone planning to wed,” said Allison.

“Today’s brides are likely to think green, recycle and save money – and now they can support a Galway charity too!”

The COPE Galway Charity Shop page has many well-known brands and styles available for sustainable-thinking brides, from an exquisite Ian Stuart Bohemian gown to Vintage styles from Coast, along with a selection of new silk ivory Benjamin Adams bridal footwear.

All ‘worn once’ dresses have been cleaned, and there is a range of sizes to choose from across the collection.

“While the doors of our modern shop on Saint Augustine Street in Galway have been shut during lockdown, you can still find some of our treasures on our Thriftify page”, added Allison.

“By reselling, we are recycling jewellery, handbags, women and men’s fashions, books, DVDs, CDs.

“All our items on Thriftify are refundable so you can buy and try in the comfort of your own home, and we are on hand to answer any queries you might have on the items on 085 878 5282.”
