Galway could face heavy showers and thunderstorms until tonight, with another weather warning issued by Met Eireann this afternoon.

Rain and thunderstorms may lead to localised flooding today, and will create hazardous driving conditions for motorists.
Despite this alert, thundery showers will be mixed with sunny spells today, getting brighter and clearer as the evening progresses.
Highest temperatures today of 17 to 18 degrees, with a moderate westerly wind turning lighter later in the day.
Today is forecast to be cloudy, but mostly dry except for a patches of light rain or drizzle, with highest temperatures of 16 to 17 degrees.
More rain and unsettled conditions are expected for most of the midweek period, with a tenuously brighter outlook for the weekend, particularly on Sunday.
