Met Éireann has issued a weather warning for Galway ahead of snow and ice tomorrow, Sunday.
Wintry falls are forecast for tomorrow morning, and some accumulations are possible.
The status yellow weather warning comes into effect at 6am on Sunday, and will remain in place throughout the day until 6pm.
Later in the afternoon, the precipitation will be mostly of rain, Met Éireann say.
The warning was issued for Galway and 17 other counties – Carlow, Cavan, Donegal, Dublin, Kildare, Leitrim, Laois, Longford, Louth, Mayo, Meath, Monaghan, Offaly, Roscommon, Sligo, Westmeath, and Wicklow.
