After a decent enough week, the weekend looks like it will stay warm and mostly dry in most of Galway – but Saturday will be the better of the two days.
Today, the mercury will reach up to 25 degrees in parts of the county, and it should remain dry for the most part with some spells of sunshine.
It will be warm again tonight, with overnight temperatures no lower than 14 to 16 degrees with mostly dry weather.
And the dry and warm weather looks set to continue tomorrow, Saturday, for most of Galway.
The south of the county will see showers or longer spells of rain tomorrow morning, but the rest of the county will be mostly dry, with some sunny spells.
Temperatures will remain quite high, between 21 and 24 degrees.
Sunday will bring a mix of sunny spells, clouds and scattered showers, Met Éireann’s national outlook forecasts.
It will be slightly cooler than Saturday, with temperatures in the high teens to early twenties.
