Met Éireann has updated its status yellow weather warning for Galway, which will be in effect until midday tomorrow, Friday.
Heavy rain and unseasonably windy conditions could lead to damage to temporary outdoor structures and difficult driving conditions while the warning is in place.
Localised flooding is also possible, as well as increased debris due to the strong winds.
Both Galway and Mayo are impacted by the updated warning.
