Galway is expected to receive extremely heavy rainfall on Saturday morning as a Status Orange weather warning has been issued for Storm Berh.

Met Eireann has issued a Status Orange Rain warning for Cork, Kerry, Galway from midnight tonight to 10am on Saturday.

All three counties are expected to experience intense periods of rainfall in a short period of time tomorrow.

There is a possibility of localised flooding across the country, with Met Eireann also warning motorists to be wary of fallen trees.
