Bad weather is set to continue this week with an Orange weather warning issued for Galway by Met Eireann.
The Status Orange wind warning will be in place from 6pm on Wednesday until 6am the following morning.
Over the course of the evening and night Galway will be hit by very heavy westerly winds, coupled with spring tides.
As a result of these winds, coastal flooding is likely Met Eireann has warned.
