Galway is not clear of its recent spell of terrible weather yet, as Met Eireann has issued another weather warning for thunder, lightning, and hail.
Thunderstorms today will bring frequent lightning, heavy downpours of rain, gusty winds, and a chance of hail, Met Eireann has said.
The Status Yellow weather warning has been issued for all of Connacht and Munster, along with counties Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Offaly, and Westmeath.
The warning, which came into effect on Sunday morning, will be in place until 10pm tonight.
Saturday saw Galway under a Status Orange warning for severe weather, as the recent hot spell has come to an end in a dramatic fashion in the west.
