Met Éireann has issued an update to its weather advisory with miserable weather expected across Ireland this week.
The weather experts say spells of heavy rain, coupled with already saturated soils, may lead to localised flooding.
Met Éireann’s updated weather advisory will remain in place until midnight on New Year’s Eve and affects all counties in the Republic.
Rain will clear northeastwards through tomorrow morning though, leaving a dry day with some sunny spells developing through the afternoon.
It will be mild too, with highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees.
