More thunderstorms are forecast in Galway today with Met Éireann issuing a status yellow warning for the third day in a row.
Localised showers with heavy downpours are forecast, along with thunderstorms, gusty winds and a chance of hail.
The rain could lead to localised flooding and difficult travelling conditions.
Met Éireann’s status yellow warning will come into force at 3pm and remain in place until 9pm.
Clare, Donegal, Leitrim, Laois, Limerick, Longford, Mayo, Offaly, Roscommon, Sligo, Tipperary, and Westmeath are also affected by the alert.
