Met Éireann has warned of cold weather across Ireland, which is set to last until at least Friday.
Sharp and severe frost, icy patches and dense fog at times will lead to dangerous travelling conditions over the coming week.
It will remain dry, however, with plenty of sunshine throughout the week.
Met Éireann’s weather advisory was issued for all counties in the Republic from this afternoon until 10.30pm on Friday.
Weather warnings could be issued over the coming days.
