Galway Daily weather Wind Warning in effect as crappy day ahead for Galway

After dealing with two storms in one week, Met Eireann has issued another weather warning for Galway on Sunday.

A Status Yellow wind warning has been issued for all of Connacht, as well as counties Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, and Donegal.

Very strong westerly winds are expected on Sunday, and Monday morning, along the Atlantic coast.

There is also the possibility of coastal flooding in places, Met Eireann has cautioned.

This weather warning will be in place from 9am Sunday until 9am on Monday morning.

Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo will also be under a status yellow rain warning from 4pm this afternoon to the same time on Sunday.

Ireland is still dealing with the aftermath of Storm Eunice, which brought heavy winds and snowfall across much of the country, with snow heaviest in the northwest.

A snow & ice warning for all Ireland was in force for all of Friday, and lasted until 10am this morning, with warnings of ice creating hazardous driving conditions.
