Gardaí are investigating a double assault which occurred in the Woodquay are of Galway City in the early hours of Bank Holiday Monday.
Two men, one in his 20s and one in his early 30s, were the victims of an assault by a group of people.
The incident took place at St Brigid’s Place at approximately 4am on Monday morning.
Gardaí said that the two men sustained non-life threatening injuries.
No arrests have yet been made and investigations are ongoing.
