There will be extra, temporary stands erected at the Sportsground for Connacht Rugby’s interpros against Munster and Leinster next month.
Additional terraces are being put in at the Sportsground that will bring the stadium’s capacity to over 8,000.
The game against Munster on October 7 will be the first played on Connacht’s home grounds since the installation of a new artificial surface.
A week later, Leinster will be coming to Galway for another blowout game in the United Rugby Championship.
The terraces will be located at the Bohermore and College Road ends of the ground, bringing the capacity of The Sportsground up to 8,129.
Tickets for both games are on sale now at connachtrugby.ie/tickets, and supporters are urged to act quickly to avoid disappointment.
