Creggs RFC have made it into the Bank of Ireland Junior Cup Final, where they will face off against Westport later this month.
The north Galway club made it into the final after overcoming stiff resistance from Ballinrobe at the weekend.
After pulling ahead in the first half to a score of 19-8 at the break, Creggs managed to hold off a determined comeback by Ballinrobe, for a final score of 22-18.
Meanwhile, Westport came to Tuam on Sunday where they triumphed over the home side 16-10.
The game was neck in neck for much of the playtime, until two late penalties saw Sam Walsh secure victory for the visitors.
The Connacht Junior Cup Final will take place on March 26 at the Sportsground.
