Connemara Rugby Club is planning further upgrades to its grounds in Clifden, with plans submitted to the county council.
The rugby club is seeking planning permission for a new running track on its grounds at Ardbear, Clifden, as well as new training paddocks.
The club is also seeking approval for a new vehicular entry/exit onto the R341 road, as well as a new internal access road and parking.
A Natura Impact Statement was submitted with this application due to the proximity of the site to the Connemara Bog Complex SAC.
Galway County Council is due to make a decision on this planning application by October 19.
The last upgrade to Connemara RFC was a new playing pitch granted approval in December of 2018.
