Connacht Rugby have named the 23 man squad which has departed for South Africa this morning for the URC Semi-Final this weekend.

Connacht will be facing off against the DHL Stormers on their home ground in Cape Town this Saturday.

The semi-final winners will face each other in the URC title decider, with the highest-ranked team hosting the game at their nominated venue.

The management team can report a clean bill of health from the weekend, with the travelling squad including all 23 players who featured in Belfast.

Also included are Connacht natives Eoin de Buitléar, Cathal Forde, Darragh Murray and Colm Reilly, as well as props Peter Dooley and Dominic Robertson-McCoy.

Last weekend’s victor over Ulster also confirmed Connacht’s place in next season’s Heineken Champions Cup.
