The sentiments were the same for Galway ladies manager Stephen Glennon as he was glad to see his team easily account for Waterford in the All-Ireland senior ladies football championship.
First half goals for Leanne Coen, Roisin Leonard and Ailbhe Davoren ensured the Tribeswomen a quarter-final spot with a game to spare.
Glennon’s focus is solely on their next opponents Westmeath but Galway meet Dublin or Mayo in in the All-Ireland quarter-finals on August 12th.
Galway meet Westmeath in the 2018 TG4 All-Ireland Senior Ladies Football Championship on Saturday, 28th July. Throw-in at Duggan Park, Ballinasloe is 2pm.
