Galway intermediate camogie manager Noel Finn was disappointed after seeing his side fall 0-4 to 0-9 last Saturday (18th August) in the All-Ireland semi-final.

The Tribeswomen never managed to score from play in McDonagh Park, Nenagh as they depended on an excellent Rachel Monaghan display.  The Mullagh corner forward registered all nine points from corner forward.

Galway couldn’t be faulted for their determination even if things weren’t gelling and they did earn a 70th minute penalty (stand in referee Peter Dowd gave 10 extra minutes).  But Monaghan’s was denied by Cork’s defence.

Finn acknowledged his team had chances as their first semi-final in five years ended in defeat.  He chatted to Galway Daily afterwards.
