Portumna’s Sam Murphy has been named in the Ireland side for a Boys under 16 international match against England at Limerick Golf Club against England in October 2018.
Six players have been selected including Murphy, Joseph Byrne (Baltinglass), Robert Galligan (Elm Park), Joshua McCabe (Roganstown), Tom McKibbin (Holywood) and Keaton Morrisson (Greenacres).
The contest, which takes place on October 13th and 14th, will play a mixture of four-balls, foursomes nad singles match play against their English counterparts over the two days.
Ireland U16 Captain Kevin Raftery (Forrest Little) will captain the team and Peter English (Limerick) will serve as team manager.
