Congratulations to our U16 girls and management team on their comprehensive win over Caltra in the Division 2 Shield Final on Saturday last. All present witnessed a fabulous display of football with great individual performances resulting in a final score 6-14 to Caltra 2-7.

Captain Lauren Conneally accepted the shield on behalf of her teammates. Thanks to the management team of Liz and Pat Collins, Bernie Conneally, Brendan Caulfield and Michael Lyons for their commitment to this group of players.

It’s Connacht Final weekend. 

Our senior girls take on Carnacon in Ballyhaunis GAA grounds.

Throw-in at 3:30pm on Saturday.

Kilkerrin United 

Well done to Kilkerrin United U16 girls who had an impressive 4-0 win against Newtown FC in the FAI Cup on Saturday. Pauline O’Grady scored a hat-trick and Caoimhe Feeney was also on the score sheet in a fine team performance.

Senior men host Castlerea Celtic on Friday at 8pm in the RDFL Premier Division.

U18 boys play neighbours Moylough ’79 in the RDYSL Premier Division Cup Final on Saturday. Time and venue will be posted on the club website www.kilkerrinunited.com once confirmed.

Last week’s RDFL lotto numbers were 2, 6, 8 & 19. There was no jackpot winner. Four match 3 winners: Bernie McHugh, c/o CP Ajax; Ian Heneghan, c/o Cloonfad United; Ann Heneghan, c/o Cloonfad United; Imelda Gordon, c/o Kilkerrin United.  Next week’s jackpot is €15,150.
