Galway will need to beat Westmeath next Sunday in their final round robin game in the LIDL Ladies National Football League after suffering defeat to Cork last week.

Despite a Leanne Coen goal before half-time, majors from Orla Finn, Marie O’Callaghan and Ciara O’Sullivan put Cork into the knock out stages. But following their previous win over Dublin, they remain one win away from qualifying.
