County under 13 B1 Hurling Final – Saturday, 11th August 2018
Mullagh/Kiltormer 4-7 Tynagh/Abbey-Duniry 2-2
Mullagh/Kiltormer hit the ground running in the second half in St. Brendan’s Park, Loughrea as they were crowned County under 13 B1 Hurling Champions.
The midday showdown saw two teams eager to go and it was Mullagh/Kiltormer who held a marginal 2-3 to 2-1 advantage at half-time.
However, after the break, they kept their opponents to just one point as they hit two more goals securing county glory and getting preparations in place for the tour of the two parishes.
Ryan McDermott and Conor Dolphin were joint captains of the winning team and the latter was also awarded the Man of the Match award.
