Galway GAA has confirmed draft fixtures for footballers and hurlers in the upcoming 2021 Allianz League starting next month.

The hurlers will be the first to return to the field on May 8 against Westmeath at Cusack Park in Mullingar on May 8.

Following that, the first football fixture of the season is also an away game against Kerry in Tralee on May 15.

The remaining hurling fixtures will see two games each home and away, with Galway v Limerick on May 16, Tipperary v Galway on May 22, Galway v Waterford on June 6, and Cork v Galway on June 13.

In football Galway will play Roscommon on May 23 and Dublin on May 30, with both games taking place at Pearse Stadium.

These are draft fixtures, and may be subject to change depending on the circumstances.

The semi-finals of the Allianz Football League are expected to take place on the weekend of June 12-13, with the league final on the following week.

There won’t be any quarter-finals, semi-finals, or final in Division 1 of the Hurling League this year, with either joint winners for 2021, or else if the winning teams from Division 1A and 1B meet in the Championship, this will count as the League final also.
