Galway GAA has announced the provisional fixtures for the return to inter county football this year, with Galway having their first U20 and U17 games in early April.
Galway first match in the U20 Football Championship in 2021 will be a Connacht semi-final against Mayo taking place on Saturday, April 10.
The other semi-final that day will be between Sligo and whoever wins the Roscommon v Leitrim quarter-final the week prior.
The Connacht U20 Football final will take place on the weekend of April 16/17
Following on from the provincial results, the All-Ireland Semi-Finals for the U20 Championship will fall on April 24/25.
The All-Ireland Final will take place at the start of the following month on May 1/2.
U17 Championship
Galway will first play on Friday, April 9 against either Mayo or Roscommon in the provincial semi-final.
The other semi-final that day will be a Sligo v Leitrim match up. The Connacht final will then take place on Friday, April 30.
The All-Ireland Semi-Finals are scheduled for the weekend of May 16/17, with the final to take place on May 22/23.
All of these dates are provisional, with fixtures subject to change based on COVID-19 restrictions.
All of the games in question will finish on the day, with extra time as needed.
An announcement will be made on the Senior Football Championship on February 8.
