Clarinbridge GAA Club is seeking planning approval for an expansion to its existing clubhouse to provide new player facilities.
The GAA club intends to build a two storey extension to its clubhouse at Kilcornan, Clarinbridge with a total floor space of 528sqm.
The ground floor of the new structure will be used for showers for the club’s players, while the upstairs area will mainly be used as a gym.
“It may also be used for meetings when not required as a gymnasium,” the planning application states.
Galway County Council is due to make a decision on whether to grant the club planning approval by March 25.
