Galway Races have announced that BoyleSports are the latest sponsors of the coming summer festival, in a multi-year deal.
The bookmakers will back not one, but four races as the title sponsor on Saturday, July 30.
The three year sponsorship deal will see them back the BoyleSports Maiden Hurdle, Irish EBF Maiden, Irish EBF Mares Flat Race, and the feature Handicap Hurdle, worth €110,000.
Chief Executive of Galway Racecourse Michael Moloney said, “BoyleSports have been a fantastic supporter of Irish racing and we’re delighted to welcome them on-board as the title sponsor for the Saturday of our Summer Festival.”
“They’ve made a huge investment in Irish horse racing over the last few years and to have them as part of our race week programme is a great addition to the week.”
“We look forward to working with the team on making this a great success for all involved.”
Leon Blanche of BoyleSports said that it is a “privilege and honour” to deepen their commitment to the Galway Races by becoming the title sponsor for that day.
“The Galway Summer Festival is synonymous with Horse Racing in Ireland and it’s a very exciting time to be teaming up with them as the traditional throng of racegoers return to descend on Ballybrit.”
This year’s Galway Races will see crowds return to Ballybrit Racecourse in force over the week, July 25 – 31.
