Young people will be holding a climate protest in Galway City this afternoon, as part of a global action from Fridays For Future.
Fridays For Future Galway will be holding a rally in Eyre Square at 2pm on Friday.
The rally, along with others in Dublin and Cork, is to protest inaction on climate change.
This is part of a global day of action planned, with hundreds of rallies taking place worldwide.
Fridays for Future began in 2018, with young people leaving school to demand their leaders take action to protect their future, and his since spread worldwide.
