A young man is in a serious condition at University Hospital Galway after falling from a height in the city centre yesterday morning.
Emergency services were called to a house near Eyre Square in the early hours of Saturday morning and it is understood that the man fell ‘a number of storeys’, the Irish Mirror reports.
The man who is in his twenties was taken to UHG – where he is in a serious but stable condition.
Gardaà say that investigations are ongoing.
