A man has been hospitalized after a stabbing on Francis Street in Galway City Centre in the early hours of this morning.
Gardaà have said that a young man in his 20s was injured in a stabbing incident that took place in the early hours of this morning.
The incident took place at around 3.30am on Francis Street.
The individual was brought to University Hospital Galway where his condition is said to be “serious”.
However, his injuries are said to be “non-life threatening”.
Francis Street was closed for a forensic and technical examination this morning but has since reopened.
Gardaà have confirmed investigations into the incident are ongoing with no arrests being made at this point in time.
