Water should be returning to areas in the west side of Galway City and suburbs this afternoon which were affected by outages overnight.
Irish Water has been making repairs to a burst water mains affecting the supply to Knocknacarra, Barna and other areas today.
The burst pipe left homes with supply issues overnight after being reported shortly before 8pm on Saturday.
The repairs were reported completed at 3pm this afternoon, though it can take 2-3 hours after that before full affected homes see their water supply fully return.
