Multiple areas in Galway County between the city and Tuam are experiencing water outages this afternoon due to a burst water mains.
Galway County Council has said that a burst mains is causing outages in Lackagh, Turloughmore and Knockdoe.
Repair works are currently underway, and are expected to be completed by 4pm this afternoon.
Residents affected by this are advised that it frequently takes 2 – 3 hours after repairs are completed for full water supply to be restored as the network refills.
