People living in Spiddal, Furbo and Moycullen may experience water outages today due to a mechanical issue.
Irish Water has said that a pump failure is affecting the water supply to the three areas, and surrounding parts of the county.
Repair works are scheduled to take place until 2pm this afternoon.
It can take 2-3 hours after repairs are completed before people see their full water supply restored.
