People living in Ballindereen will be without water until late Tuesday afternoon due to a burst water mains.
The burst mains causing water outages to the south Galway village and surrounding areas was first reported around 10:20am this morning.
Repair works are underway, and are currently expected to be completed by 4:30pm according to Irish Water.
A traffic management plan will be in place in the village for the duration of the works.
It may take 2 – 3 hours after that before people see their full water supply restored, as the network refills.
Updates can be found on Irish Water’s supply and service website page.
