A burst water main is causing outages to multiple neighbourhoods in Athenry today, with repairs expected to continue into the night.
A burst water main in Athenry was reported by Irish Water at approximately 2:30pm this afternoon.
This is causing water outages and supply issues to Árd Esker, Lambert Court, Páirc na Rí, Garraí Glas, Cáislean Rí, the Tuam Road, and surrounding areas in Athenry.
Repair works are currently scheduled to continue until 9pm tonight.
It can take up to 2-3 hours after repairs are completed before people see their full supply restored.
