Water outages are expected in Oughterard and multiple surrounding areas tomorrow while maintenance on the network is taking place.
Residents of Oughterard, Billymore, Killola, Rosscahill, Cloonabinnia, Tullykyne, Lakeshore Road Glann, and Glengowla Group Water Scheme may experience water outages or reduced water pressure.
This is due to maintenance which Irish Water is carrying out maintenance on the reservoir and existing water mains network in the area Galway County Council has said.
The maintenance work will be taking place between 10am and 4pm on Tuesday, January 28.
A traffic management plan will be in place in Oughterard for the duration of the works.
Residents who experience issues are advised that it may take 2 – 3 hours after these works are completed for their full water supply to return.
