Water outages are continuing today in Kilconly and surrounding areas of north Galway between Carheens and Caltra Cross caused by a burst water main yesterday.
Residents of Kilconly, Ratesh, Liss, Shrule Road, Cloghanower, Keekill, Headford and surrounding areas may experience low pressure and water outages today while repairs take place.
However, the water supply to Headford Town is not affected by this issue.
Repair works are expected to be completed by 5pm today Irish Water has said.
The road between Carheens and Caltra Cross will be closed from 8am to 5pm on Saturday December 5.
People affected by these are advised that it may take 2 – 3 hours after work is completed for their full water supply to be restored.
Updates on both situations can be found on Irish Water’s Supply and Service website page, or by contacting Irish Water’s twitter account @IWCare.
