Galway County Council has advised people in Ballinvoher and Barnaboy, Turloughmore that there is a temporary water outage in the area.
The outage was caused by a burst water main which is in the process of being repaired.
Water is expected to resume at 1pm this afternoon.
Galway County Council and Uisce Éireann said they regret any inconvenience caused by the works.
