Update: Padraic has been found safe and well.
An urgent plea has been sent out on Facebook in the last while as a man has gone missing from A&E in Galway University Hospital.
Áine Bairéad shared the post on her Facebook page within the last hour as she is urgently searching for help in locating the man.
The man in question is her uncle Patrick (Padraic) Barrett and he is reported to have gone missing from A&E in Galway University Hospital since 6pm this evening.
If anyone sees him, she has asked that the Gardaí be contacted immediately.
