Galway Daily news UHG is the second most overcrowded hospital in Ireland again this week

UHG is the third most overcrowded hospital in Ireland again today with 41 patients on trolleys according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.

Worse affected than UHG by the overcrowding crisis today are the usual suspects University Hospital Limerick with 64 people with a proper bed, and Cork University Hospital where 55 people are on trolleys.

All told there are 522 patients without a proper bed in Ireland’s public hospitals today according to the INMO’s daily Trolley/Ward Watch.

Fortunately the situation is not as bad at Portiuncula Hospital where there is only one person on a trolley this morning.
