Roadworks underway on the Gort to Loughrea road will disrupt traffic in the area for the next two weeks.
The works are taking place on the R380 (Old N66) starting in Kilchreest Village heading North East to the Seven Eye Bridge.
The work involved includes planing out and reinstating the road surface, along with road marking and drainage works.
Traffic management measures will be in place on the affected stretch of road while work is taking place, using a Stop/Go system.
Galway County Council says these roadworks are expected to take a total of two weeks to complete.
The contract for the project has been awarded to Harrington’s Ltd.
