The N17 Tuam Bypass will be closed in alternating directions for for two days next week while maintenance work is taking place.
CRJV, on behalf of Transport Infrastructure Ireland, intend to carry out works on the bypass next Monday and Tuesday.
To facilitate this, there will be lane closures in place in either direction between the roundabout with the N83 at either end.
The program for the closures is as follows:
- Monday, September 14 – 08:00 to 16:00 – Northbound Closure
- Tuesday, September 15 – 08:00 to 18:00 – Southbound Closure
During this time, traffic will be diverted through Tuam.
Galway County Council apologises for any inconvenience motorists experience as a result of these works.
