An extra evening train service will run from Dublin to Galway this weekend to accommodate supporters returning from the Champions Cup match.
Connacht and Leinster will play this Friday for their second leg game Heineken Champions Cup final 16.
After a home start for Connacht at the Sportsground, the next match will take place at Aviva Stadium, starting at 5:30pm on Friday, April 15.
Irish Rail have added a special 8:20pm Heuston-Galway service to accommodate fans returning after the game.
The special return train will depart as follows:
- Dublin – 20:20
- Portarlington – 20:59
- Tullamore – 21:16
- Athlone – 21:40
- Ballinasloe – 21:56
- Woodlawn – 22:07
- Athenry – 22:18
- Oranmore – 22:43
- Galway 22:54
Irish Rail has advised that advance booking is essential for this service.
It is still advised that people wear face masks on the train, and alcohol is not permitted.
