Roadworks in the Newcastle area of Galway City will disrupt traffic for two weeks when they get underway later this week.
Galway City Council is carrying out resurfacing works on the N59 at Upper Newcastle.
The works will take place between the N6 Bothar na dTreabh Junction and the N59 Thomas Hynes Rd. Junction (Westwood Junction).
Works will take place during the day with a Stop & Go system in operation to manage traffic during this time.
The roadworks are currently expected to take two weeks to complete.
Road users are urged to use alternative routes to avoid delays while they are underway.
