There will be an overnight road closure of the Tuam Bypass on Tuesday evening in order to allow roadworks to take place.
Routine maintenance works are being carried out on the Bypass by Colas Roadbridge (CRJV).
In order to facilitate these works, the road will be closed in both directions from 7pm tonight until 6am on Wednesday morning.
Traffic will be diverted through Tuam town during these hours.
More substantial roadworks are expected to cause considerable disruption on the Tuam Bypass when they begin two weeks from now.
Resurfacing works are scheduled to take place for two and a half weeks from Monday, October 16 until Friday, November 3.
In order to facilitate these roadworks, the Bypass will be closed from 7pm to 6am each night.
